A metaphor is the Mount Everest
A non-fiction is an African Forest

Yet, I dare to touch them

I love the idea that a novel is as long as the Nile River in another language. It's so true. I can't imagine being as gifted in another tongue as some people are with English (as their second or third language! my god...)
