Please Fire Morgan Poem by Kevin Bear Bryant

Please Fire Morgan

Rating: 5.0

It's Sunday Night
Baseball is on ESPN
And the lovely voice of Jon Miller begins.

The fans tune in
The fans show up for the ballpark
The players are ready to play ball

Despite all the positives
there is a negative
and it ruins the name of baseball

He starts with 'I've never seen them play.'
He claims misled information
and his name is Joseph Lenord Morgan

Morgan is nearly as bad as John Kruk
but was a much better baseball player
but isn't the smartest man
but is rewarded with emmys.

My favorite site is Fire Joe Morgan
because they expose the truth about Morgan
who believes Billy Beane wrote 'Moneyball'.

Morgan believes in 'manufacturing runs'
I believe in hitting the long ball.
Morgan loves little guys like David Eckstein
I love big guys like Babe Ruth.

I plead with ESPN to cut the chord on Morgan
they did it with Joe Theismann
and with Michael Irvin.

ESPN can make it all right again
and all it takes is two words
You're Fired.
