You and I keeping words
Those words full of wishes and dreams
Telling those words of promises
Someday you and I will be happy.

It's just like a melody in my ear
So warm that gently whispered
It's the sweetest thing that I've ever heard
Darling please stay my side forever.

You're the man I'm wanting for
Through the years that I've been waiting for
To be my hero and be yours forevermore
Because I love you each day more and more.

But there is something wrong with you
At the end I could'nt help myself make it through
Will I know someday that maybe you will go
And leaving me will hurts me so.

I don't want to end the night
Get close baby and hold me tight
Please stay and don't say goodbye
For losing you maybe I would die.

Believe for what I've said was true
Darling please come back and don't go
I needed you and I loved you so
For no one else I've ever felt this way as I do.

I'm asking for you to stay
And let me hold you close and say
Please don't turn and walk away
Losing you for me is not easy.
