Please Do Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Please Do

Please do

You call me crazy?
Please do…
I am one; it is fun!

Now listen:
"Had dream in kitchen…"
Not Lennon's
Not Malcolm's
Not Luther's

Simply mine

Not any politics
Not of a religion

Simply mine

I heard the potato
and the eggs in the pot
water boiled and they talked
with steam and bubbles on the rise:
"This chap…guy…brutal…"

Therefore I looked around
looked and looked saw no one
only I…

Simply me...

They called me murderer
egg said was pregnant
I saw the potato's
sprouts...

Laugh at me
since I am crazy
can't you see?

"F" the world
it is fun…
