Please Poem by Em Jay Christian

Please

Please could you pray for mother,
Please could you hug my dad?
Please could you all remember,
All the good times that we had?

No please don’t weep for friendship,
No please don’t sob for time.
No please don’t miss me too much,
Moving on is not a crime.

Please pray for hurting children,
Please pray for battered wives.
Please pray for the lonely angels,
Of those who’ve lost their lives.

No please don’t cry a river,
These tears should not be mine.
Please poor your soul out through your eyes,
For this kids from Columbine.

Please know that I will miss you all.
Please say you’ll miss me too.
Please think of me, and smile,
On the day when my life is through.
