Playing Hammock Poem by Govind Ramakrishnan

Playing Hammock

Rating: 3.9

A
Thin sliver of silver
On the edges of
A translucent disc,
Playing hammock
To a lazy satellite,
This Jewel
In the night sky

Ready to
Wax and shine
Over the next fortnight
Fully golden,
Lighting up
The spring skies
