Platmorph And Formine

On his alkaloid,
an addict said,

'For me
it's easy to see
that form ain't phorm
and morph ain't morf
because the Greek's ph
and the Latin's f;

but both mean the same,
and it's hard to see why
a raised level surface
ain't a platmorph;
and this alkaloid that makes me dream,
why ain't it formine? '
