Plastic Poem by Fae Sebastian

Plastic

Plastic faces
With painted on smiles
Movements stiff
An untrained puppet master pulling strings
Jerky turns
Joints creaking like a wagon's wheels without oil
Empty minds
Wind blows straight through perfectly formed ears
Useless words
Robotic phrases are all that slip out, but it always sounds good
Another copy
Thousands infest the world, each one just the same
Another doll
Good for looking pretty, but nothing else
Another chunk of plastic
But oh, how nice they look!
