Pitong araw - Hale

Pitong araw lang
Di natikman ang liwanag
Di inaalam...

Di makangiti
Isip ay sawi
Sa ligayang ako'y binigyan...

Di ako magkakaganito kundi sayo
Sabihin mo...

Di kita iiwanan
Pangakong di pababayaan
Akoy' nandyan lamang nababalot sa isip mo

Ang isip ay pagod
Daliri'y baluktot
Wala rin naman... Wala rin naman

Hanggang kailan
Sana ngayon lang maranasan
Wag mo akong saktan

Di ako magkakaganito kundi sayo
Sabihin mo...

Di kita iiwanan
Pangakong di pababayaan
Ako'y nandyan lamang nababalot...

Di kita iiwanan
Pangakong di pababayaan
Ako'y nandyan lamang nababalot...

Di kita iiwanan
Pangakong di pababayaan
Ako'y nandyan lamang nababalot...

Di kita iiwanan
Pangakong di pababayaan
Ako'y nandyan lamang nababalot...

poet Geoffrey Chaucer

The firste stock-father of gentleness,
What man desireth gentle for to be,
Must follow his trace, and all his wittes dress,
Virtue to love, and vices for to flee;
