(*) Pink Confused A White Rose Red

Pink confused a red rose white
Dipping sun leads day to night.
Guileless dawn joins light with dark;
Hateless, awe-filled, works of art.
Nature paints each their skin;
Not a choice, nought to win.
No thorn pricked,no blood bled,
pink infused a white rose red.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Sitting on Grande Anse Beach in Grenada one New Years Eve, I was enjoying the company of people from many parts of the world but this contrasted so bleakly with the racial abuse I received on that same beach earlier in the day that I felt I had to express my bewilderment in this poem.

I really liked this one....an interesting choice of white to red and red to white! I think it is very well done...short, to the point?
