This was good, it brought a smerk to my face. That should say it all.

7. It almost works. But it needs more original imagery. Originality is funny. Take, for instance, stand-up comedy. Comedians who repeat the same surface-level, obvious stuff everyone else does are not funny.

Nothing wrong with a little sarcasm. I think it fits well in the context of your other poetry, but alone, the point might go missing.

I really got a kick out of this one - it's not serious poetry yet it addresses human foibles.
