Pillows Of Love Poem by Tia Maria

Pillows Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Surrounded by this soft embrace
half sleeping in this sacred space
Eyes dare not open in search of more
dreams swept away to a distant shore

Waking is just not a great option
Reality an unsatisfactory adoption
For when I open my eyes you're not there
What am I to do with this love I can't share

The cold chill has crept in from outside
Can't seem to find a place to hide
All that was fine and warm in me
Has faded with another dream
