Pillow Talk Poem by Ronald Strickland

Pillow Talk

Each morning when i awake, and your not there.
I'll lay with my head on my pillow,
thinking of you, and all that we had shared.

I'll mention your name as if you were
there.

In a distance I'll start to stare.
I hear your wonderful voice and laughter
and feel your loving touch and care

Then I'll find myself lost in your caring eyes,
as we talk. of all the things that matter in our lives.

I must go now and start my day, our pillow talk will
have to wait as i feel my heart start to break.

Our pillow talks is my time with you. It's the moments
that i feel you're close, and remembering the love we shared.
and all the pillow talks when you were there.
