Pilgrim Of Rememberance Poem by Asma Khan

Pilgrim Of Rememberance

He became speechless on the name of love
and a silent blanket covered his presence

Don't be surprised or hurt for love is vulnerable
swallow the pains tasting this essence

You can't lock the doors of your heart ever
for they're meant to be visited by angels from the heavens

The sun of time has sucked all the light I had
the moon has come with a new face wearing your luminance

Tomorrow is vague and a new hope dwells within
If I found you or have to embrace your absence

You took up the places where the sun never set
in the sea of your eyes, I can't see beyond your radiance

It was your light that scared me more than you
fear of losing you was nothing in any accordance

End of every spring will remind me of you
not the dreams, not the desires but your existence
