Pieces - Poem by Christopher McNabb

An enormous puzzle, the human mind
Concidered the heart in a painful time
Spread out the memories on the floor
So many pieces, some I adore

Sift through the ashes of mental armageddon
An arduous mystery, something I'm forgetting
So I sift through the ashes, of mental armageddon
An arduous mystery, something I'm forgetting

I see no future, and the present is vague
searching through the past in a mental cage
Just pick up the pieces and see what I find
I'll just pick up the pieces of my hearts, mind
