Piece Of A Different Puzzle Poem by Jesse Ellsbury

Piece Of A Different Puzzle

Rating: 4.5

I’m a piece of a different puzzle
from the one I’ve been packaged with,
my appendages do not fit
the grasping hands of my neighbors,
I’m a stranger.
The image on my one side
is different from that of the other:
I only fit in when I lie.
