Pictures In The Hall Poem by Richard Netherland Cook

Pictures In The Hall

All the pictures in the hall,
Bring us memories to recall,
Of family taken young and old,
Aunts and Uncles, and cousins few,
In black and white and color too.

Some of Mother in years gone by,
Daddy standing in a coat and tie,
Memories that a family shares,
Hanging there for all to see,
Even some of you and me.

My In-laws are ther in times gone by,
Me on a bike giving it a try,
Jane in a cap and a gown,
Grandkids in a cheerleading yell,
Young lovers by a wishing well.

Grandpa's and Grandma's old and new,
Alot of relatives there's quite a few,
Placed in a gallery display,
There's the old house where we grew up,
A picture of my favorite pup.

Pictures of some we never knew,
But we know would have loved us too,
Moments frozen in time are in,
All the pictures that hang in the hall,
And I just love them, I love them all.
