Picture Us

Picture us sitting by the beach
seawater and sand touching our feet
Holding each other hands
Watching the beautiful sunset

Picture us living in the same house
Fights, love, fun, ... between us
At night telling secrets and dreams
8 am we have forgotten to sleep

I'm just trying to show u
We can go there
A place we both share
A place where one + one is one
With you I want to go there
All I want to know

Can I take you there?
I just wanna take you there
I just want to be with you forever
We'll be ok as long we're together
Can I take you there?

Picture us eating in a restaurant
I'm telling things about you I love
Just before we leave
I say 'Wait, something is hurting my feet'

But picture you that wasn't true
I'm on my bended knee staring at you
Showing you a ring and loud and clear
I'm asking you 'Will you marry me'

I'm just trying to say
We can go there
A place we both share
A place where one + one is one
With you I want to go there
All I want to know

Can I take you there?
I just wanna take you there
I just want to be with you forever
We'll be ok as long we're together
Can I take you ther

Picture us having a baby
A gift that cames out our love
Now we are a real family
Where one + one + one is one

And than picture us sitting by the beach
sea water and sand touching our feets
Holding each other hands
Watching that beautiful sunset

can I take you there?

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
