Physician, Heal Thyself Poem by Lucy Lae

Physician, Heal Thyself

Rating: 5.0

Don't look at me like that
Like you know what your saying
Your teeth are decaying from the lies your portraying as act one to a never ending play on words
Hold yourself together with bandaids because your crippling your own pride  as well as mine
as were Feigning Divine higher than the third reich When weve fallen harder than Angels into kino der toten

Heal yourself
You've shrugged my hand away
I'm holding on to Empty lines
That you forgave
I will save you from yourself
But your the one that has to see
I wont let you be my mistake
The Physician will  heal thee

Your fooling everyone
we're Playing for keeps but were losing the pieces as we walk
The broken glass is cutting our feet
Revealing our weakness
Slashing and burning borders we've worked so hard to upkeep
Your sides are bruised from
Being crushed from ever side
But you refuse to lose, your ignorance baptizing your insolent rife strives for self peace

Heal yourself
You've shrugged my hand away
I'm holding on to Empty lines
That you forgave
I will save you from yourself
But your the one that has to see
I wont let you be my mistake
When the physician is me.
