Photos Poem by Dennis Walker

Photos

Rating: 3.8

Photos either paper or digital
What memories they conjure
Happy, sad and sometimes bad
Taking us on trips through time
To people who no longer exist
Children now grown with family of their own
Some gone forever lost to us
Sitting here looking at my photos
I know some will make me smile
And some will make me cry
But I would never want to lose either
A photo can trigger memories long since gone
Weddings, christenings, parties each make me smile
Faces of loved ones lost bring the tears
So many memories so many photos
As time goes on they become pointers in time
Trigger points to help with fading memories
Photos I love them
