Phantoms In The Human Mind Poem by Pratyush Mishra

Phantoms In The Human Mind

Rating: 4.0

There are Phantoms in the human mind
Phantoms of lies
Phantoms of truth
Phantoms of Amrita, the girl I loved
Phantoms of my lover, Ruth.

There are phantoms in the human mind
Of tiring tears
Of pain that my soul bears (Ahh! It Shears)
Of love in the fire
Of a sanctuary, when from the world I retire.

There are phantoms in the human mind
These very illusions of Existence
Of the Human kind
Phantoms in the world
Are mazes on the frame of Life
Phantoms of survival, struggle and strife!
