Ph: Life: Skin In The Game Poem by Brian Johnston

Ph: Life: Skin In The Game

If you are alive you've got skin in the game,
You should care, always care about outcome,
Post outcome, your life's never really the same!

Now if it comes slowly or if it comes fast,
It is clear that the outcome's important,
For the future is always a child of the past...

The child that pops out of the girl you don't love,
Or new poem with something worth saying,
Green twig that's discovered in mouth of a dove...

No matter if dry land has yet to be seen,
That your poem has yet to find reader
For deepest of winter snows promises green...

So don't give up early, leave outcome to chance,
For already the strap's off her shoulder,
The one who wins sometimes must ask for a dance!
