Pgymy Rodeo Poem by Rik Bertrand

Pgymy Rodeo

I thought that I had seen it all, I thought there was no more,
Then I traveled to a pygmy camp and saw a unicorn.
That was just the start of my curious endeavors,
For what I saw next ruffled my nonexistent feathers.

Life is full of amazing facts that most will not believe,
But what I saw with my own eyes, could not be preconceived
A red headed, left handed, beautiful little pygmy dressed like Sir Lancelot

I was told this little creature was training to be an astronaut.
I continued to observe the actions of this little pygmy camp,
I was taken to a gathering, and I sat on the ground so damp.
Rodeo forewarned, a fire was lit and we were all very warm.

Rodeo fun with a single horn, with a pygmy clown on a unicorn
All of this is very farfetched, but I know it was not a dream
You had to see all the pygmy smiles and how their faces were all a gleam.
Unicorn Rodeos, Pygmy Astronauts (beautiful redheaded ones) , and you,
Are so uncommon when fantasy is what you pursue.
