Pet Dog, Spike
Not knowing why they change and rank.
Knowing that they do.
Learning how to pick the two;
How also to respond
And make them think that I know why
They do the things they do.
They know that they're too smart for me,
But there's something about me they like,
The ones that call me Spike.
