Pet Poem by Custous Angelus

Pet

School bell rings
we come out of school exhausted
our head full of so called knowledge
conversation with friends are reduced to college matter
we all feel miserable and we try our best to cover it
come back home and no one is there
mom and dad try their best too
they too will feel miserable
no one can blame them or me for feeling miserable
one day something changed
in the empty room there is something
something that greets us
a small creature yet so big
giving sense of home to the house
the creature made my life brighter
I can talk to it whenever I feel like
It listens to me in silence always listening
I love my cat
and it knows I do
