Persistent Bird Poem by Manonton Dalan

Persistent Bird

raven crowing atop a golf cart
looking all over our lunch bag
when she tried to pry one of them
i throw a cone just to scare 'em
she didn't back out must be hunger
but her beak not strong for offer

so many of them fills tree tops
can't find food nor outlying crops
sometimes carcass scattered on ground
maybe from malnourished or end of time
summer takes it's toll to everything
even turtles scared of daily sunbathing
