Persian Poetry Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Persian Poetry

Persian poetry

Read of men in chain
And woman in mirror
(She, who knows everyone but herself.)
(That is us.)
Read of goat on her way
(That is milked in houses before home.)
And stone rotated…
(Everyday, life is same.)
Read of who mother is
Wrote royal descendent, as poet…
(Best are his sex poems, but he is serious.)
Read of cat and the mouse
(Aleppo’s Creole in Iran)
And Moses with Shaban…
And Moses with true God-Lover
(He worked with the stones, a carver.)

Please teach me Persian
Teach me reading Persian
It is where poems are abundant
See Rumi, and Khayyam, and Hafez
See Saadi and Sohrab and Nima…

Reading them is a must
Ask Forough Farrokhzad.
