Perils In Paradise Poem by Justin Gildow

Perils In Paradise

With the treasured island yo-you in my hand
And many healing potions, magical items, and special weapons in my possesion
And knowing that the Southern Cross is on my side
I know I'm not defenseless

Fighting through the dungeons and caves on the islands
With bats, rats, snakes, and ninja monkeys on my heels
And dealing with the many hazards of water and rocks
I know I must tread carefully
Making my way room to room
And being hopeful that I won't meet my doom

This is my test of island courage
And there are still many battles left with many other creatures on the islands
And there are still many visits I have left with other villagers and visiting other villages

So far
As I've learned in my adventures
Perils in paradise abound in the tropics
