Perfume & Glamour Part 2 Poem by Paula Glynn

Perfume & Glamour Part 2

She struts those heels,
Glamour bursting at the seams,
She wears many perfumes,
From CK One to Clinique's Happy,
And she dresses with style & sophistication,
For she is the ultimate in perfume & glamour,
And she reads fashion magazines like clockwork,
For she needs to be up-to-date,
With what is going on in London town,
She needs to look good,
When the sun goes down.
And she will look good,
For she has pots of money,
A lot earnt by herself,
But she is not greedy:
She shares her beauty and love,
With the world, glamour becoming her.
And she stabs those heels down the catwalk,
Looking good for the cameras,
Wearing the most amazing makeup,
And her perfume makes men swoon,
And other women green with envy,
For her beautiful scent fills the room.
And she will live forever in the glossy pages,
Of a magazine, but for other young women,
Her life is an unattainable dream,
But she knows everyone is beautiful,
For she is kind hearted, but feels no pity,
Her name in neon lights in a neon city,
The world happy, vibrant and pretty,
Because this is the world of money:
This is the world of perfume & glamour,
Where every magazine and every website,
Sells those beautiful men & women,
Into lives that are legendary.
