Perfect Peace And Paradise

Snuggled up against my true love's chest
perfect peace and paradise
the birds snuggle into their nests
and I hold My Baby tight
willows dance in Georgialand
to the Chattahoochee songs
walk with me hand in hand
as we walk across this world
isn't it so beautiful
when the fireflies come out?
isn't it so beautiful
when the cricket's start to dance?
The moonbeam wavers in the teary skies
as we wipe the tears from our eyes
it's such a beautiful night
everyday's a beautiful night
perfect peace and paradise.

Poem of the Day

poet Paul Laurence Dunbar

The mist has left the greening plain,
The dew-drops shine like fairy rain,
The coquette rose awakes again
Her lovely self adorning.

The Wind is hiding in the trees,
