Perfect Love Poem by Anna Ragin

Perfect Love

A broken heart throbs in pain
Screaming the one who’s lost’s name
It’s more painful than you would think
It starts getting smaller-it starts to shrink

It looses the ability to trust and love
Those pieces were lost and damaged beyond repair
But all it needs is a little care

It’s not gone forever
No, not at all gone for good
It just needs care, they way a true love would
Being held just because
Not needing to improvise

With love, slowly over time your heart will heal
And trust and love start to become real
Pain and hate only last so long
But loves ends are not known or bound

There are many different types of love your heart will find
Some will last, others will be left behind
Look around and try to choose
The love that is perfectly right for you
