I can feel it in the air
I can smell your hair
As you whisper in my ear
Something only I can hear
I smile and laugh
As I think of the past
How I cried
Then I lied
You waited
And the feelings never faded
Then he came
But things sated the same
And time passed
Then finally you asked.
