Perchance To Dream Poem by Carlos Rodriguez

Perchance To Dream

Rating: 5.0

Beautiful sadness
Infininte melancholy
You are the memory
I will come back to
Ancient civilazations
Crumble into the abyss
Leaving strange artifacts
For future generations to come
The sun cloaks itself in the night sky
A cumbersome black veil
Hides that mysterious stare
From the evil forces and the glare
Suffocating all the creatures who flee to the glimmering dawn
It's luminous glow breaking through the glass darkly
A moment in time
You did your crime
Eclipse of the sun
Let me go back to the watery womb
I started from.
