Pen Vs Sword Poem by George Hunter

Pen Vs Sword

Rating: 0.5

The sword is not as mighty as the pen.
Since When? , Since when?
Whoever it was said that
Is crazier that a bat.
We chose our weapons to make a test
To see if the pen or sword was best.
He uncapped his pen and squirted some ink
But that didn't even make me blink.
Before he could even sneeze
I lopped off his head as clean as you please.
His eyes blinked once and then he spoke
"I was only speaking metaphorically,
Not as you thought, categorically."
"Oops, so very sad,
My bad! "

Interesting viewpoint. It is hard to be heard with the pen if nobody is listening. But the sword speaks even when no one listens. Im glad that the poem rhymed. I dont like the simplicity of it though. Overall it isnt my type, but there are things to appreciate about it.
