Pelican In The Snow Poem by Walterrean Salley

Pelican In The Snow

Rating: 5.0

Poor little pelican
Trembling in the snow.
But a Good Samaritan
(With the heart to show)
Took the time—allowing
True pity to flow.
And with a hand dryer
He began to blow—
Warming up the pelican
That had reached its low.
Perhaps the good Samaritan
Would never-ever know
His depth of compassion.
Such heartwarming glow.
