Peeling Kiwi Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Peeling Kiwi

Rating: 5.0

Peeling a Kiwi

Freshco is a shop
that is where I end up
to purchase what I want.

I bought some kiwi too
could not eat until now
peeling two after long
made my mind travel.

My older brother
brought a yellow fruit
it was so strange
had not seen in our lives.

They named it ‘Banana’.
too new in Iran.

Time was so different
locals ate the local.

Now kiwi, everything
are somehow …
International.
