Pebbles Poem by marietta cantos

Pebbles

Rating: 5.0

tonight
i count the stars
pebbled in the sky
and remember that once
each had myth to tell.

some myriad fancies
of some unknown deities
Ocean, Iapetus
Mnemosyne and Thetys
Olympian or Titan
Greek or Roman.

you can make me as one
pebble
wanting to be one
star unknown
pebble
alone.

in the sky.

Ocean, Iapetus Mnemosyne and Thetys Olympian or Titan Greek or Roman. Pebbles perhaps as petty never had a name before you had given them one for epithet.Amazing and spectacular write

How can one who's words touch so many... be alone. As stars cluster in the night sky, surrounded by the light from their souls... the light shines from your's... Great Ink Marrietta! ; -) -Kelly.
