Peaces Vs Peace Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

Peaces Vs Peace

Put into the machine
Dirty clothes
Cups of washing powder
Took a time
To come back the machine

Refreshed aromatic clothes
Put into the dryer
Took a time
To check the machine

Inside the heart and inner mind
Unwashed dirty clothe
That is covered by anger, fear and hate

Wearing the clothes and
Act accordingly
Inside and outside
With different faces

Burden of unhappy
Duality of life
Carry for tomorrow

Instead of one truth
Facets of many truths
Touch the inside and
Wash dirty cloth

In the same way
Justices for Justice
Freedoms for freedom
Body and mind
get up and sleep
to reconcile
Searching for peaces
Instead of peace
a machine and a dryer
took in from outer
transforming dialects
into a light
