I promise Mama
I ain’t gonna cry no more
No Mama, I will be happy
Praise the lord
Jesus has saved my soul
And peace has settled in my heart
I miss him Mama
The way he use to sit at the table
And say to me
“Only love last forever my child
Only love can make you happy”
With his head held high
He would gently touch me
And all of my troubles
Would disappear
No Mama
