Peace March Signs
Signs caught my eye
so much a part of the message
Along with the feet marching,
were the signs, "End War",
"Make Levees, not War",
"Blessed are the Peacemakers",
"Peace begins with Peace",
"Veterans for Peace",
"War Just Makes It Worse,' or
'Is the World Safer Now?'
Many of them made me think,
and wonder how much the
rest of the country
thinks long and hard about
the wisdom in the war strategy
