Peace Inside Poem by Spiritwind Wood

I felt a breeze in the wind
bring a calmness through me
gently that blew
that caught my dreams
and let me in
a world I never knew

I saw fire light the sky
in clouds passing by
on a day starting new
as peace inside me grew

I felt the rivers and streams
like blood through my veins flow
as I let love shine within
from deep inside of my soul

I opened my wings and flew
and let my troubles go
as my eyes started to see
all that was waiting for me

I let Heaven bring serenity
to a heart pain would only show
as I wiped my tears away
with thanks I started to pray
and let a new journey begin
