Peace In The Tumult Poem by Eva L. Shaw

Peace In The Tumult

The water ripples over the stones
The horses neigh in the pasture field
The leaves twitter in the breeze
The sun shines through the branches.
Racing, racing, my thoughts race
As the water flows quickly in the brook.
Fish are spawning
My thoughts are breaking
Feelings of rage, confusion, frustration, fear.
Alone again, no one to share
But peace in the tumult
God is peace, He has control,
He knows my need,
He will provide.
