Peace And Love. Poem by Driss Ezzireg

Peace And Love.

Rating: 5.0

No words fire longer than words of peace.
Words of anger though they resound stronger
Are torn away in fields of truth piece by piece.
No feelings stand truer than feelings of pure love.
Feelings of desire keep hot inside like burning fire,
Die fast and cast off the heart with a thrust and shove.
No time is worth acclaim than the thoroughly spent
In good, cheerful company amongst gentile and dame
In lasting peace, in blissful love, in laughter and merriment.
