Pavements Of Time. Poem by Graham Jones

Pavements Of Time.

Rating: 4.7

I walk this concrete jungle
On pavements, paved and cracked
So many also passed this way
leaving hidden unseen tracks

Lives untouched have crossed my path
Locked within their frame of time
Yet every action on this earth
Could affect both yours and mine

If contact made, or time delayed
May change the course of lives
Insignificant little incidents
Affecting actions uncontrived

Yet time and nature stumble on
In apparent ignorant bliss
To change the world around us
On pavements such as this.

Very true, we are all connected, though we may not know it, and what we do affects others inevitably. Warmly, Julia

This is great Graham, one never thinks about how many people cross and recross pavements and concrete, day after day, all doing their own thing in their own lives. I really enjoyed reading this one that I read it four times over. thanks. Love Ernestine XXX

Wow! That's all I can say! This is fulfilling me with hope, cause I am glad to see other people thinking the same way as I do! Purple Rose
