Patience Poem by Brian Jefferson

Patience

With all this built up fustration
I have a great deal of anticipation
To whether I can maintain my focus
Because I'm unable to approach this
New outlook on life
So now I'm waiting to strike
On the chance to rise up
But I know that change won't be abrupt
With me being in this place
I'm just moving at a steady pace
Because good things come to those who wait
Even though the good seems to be late
When that change does arrive
My life will begin to thrive
I'm confident the day will come
Until then my anticipation is not done
