Patience Poem by Aiman Rathore

Patience

Rating: 2.8

We were floating
In the madness once
Seeing not only Him
But His art
We once roamed
In the lonely streets
With spirit and mind
Called by the same name

We once fell asleep
In nature’s lap
To never wake up again
We swam in the sea of sadness
Having no one else,
We were orphans
We once dreamt of leaves,
Growing on that old tree

Now it’s disappeared
But we still remain
We wait in silence
For a new day
Someone whispers,
“It’s futile.”
But in our hearts we know,
There will be a point in time.
