Path Of Roses Poem by C. R. Lunsford Sr.

Path Of Roses

Rating: 4.0

Not but once shall we trek this way
So with open heart and mind
Enjoy this day
For tomorrow shall come all so soon
Today gone forever
Like the illusions of the dune

Walk with me down this path of roses
While the joys we share
That this day composes

Let not the beauty slip through your hands
As with the hourglass
And it's continuous sands

Oh what joys we shall have
But only for a very short while
Then gone are we
Like the leaves and flowers
In their own style

So walk with me down this path of roses
And share with me the wonders
This life composes
