Pastel Poem by Deborah Dalton

Pastel

Rating: 5.0

Pastel colors
suit you
LIttle hints
of our primary
colors
blended in with white
never overbearing
just
light
Most often
worn in
spring
in celebration
for that
season
A time for
new beginnings
new growth
A new love
These hues
are almost
surreal
they emulate
nothing
grown
or
from this earth
We must look
above to
naturally
appreciate

I also, put
you above
