Past Love Poem by Rodrigo Diaz

Past Love

Best to let old bones lie where they lay.
No use in romanticizing the dead.
Let's not root through the past,
To find that intoxicating magic
The departed once brought.
Instead, let's just give thanks
For the happiness that love once wrought.
And never forget the pain of the passing.
