Passing In The Night Poem by Colin Wormald

Passing In The Night

Like two ships passing in the night.
They looked into each other’s eyes and
Entered each other’s soul.
For time their hearts were one, drifting on the tranquil sea
Lovers entwined for that fleeting moment.
Like ships they drift apart taking with them the memories
Of what was, what could and what will be
Till next time they pass in the night
